A happy day at the zoo

David and his classmates take a bus to the zoo. They look out the window, feeling very excited.

David and his friends wait in line to buy tickets. He holds his ticket and smiles happily.

With big smiles, the children point at the kangaroos. These lovely animals are jumping around.

David and his classmates also see three pandas. The big panda is sitting on the grass eating bamboo.

The monkeys love yellow bananas. There are six monkeys in the trees. The kids are counting," one, two, three, four, five, six."

In the pond, the kids can see two frogs, two ducks and some lily pads. The frogs are sitting on rocks and the ducks are swimming.

The tiger is very tired today. It has found a shady spot. Now, it is sleeping under a tree. No matter what it is doing, it is still the animal I like the most.

Before going home, the teacher and her students take a photo at the zoo entrance. With big smiles they are very happy. It is a day they will never forget.
